Wood Panel Oil Priming Demo - Cuevas Art Studio

I have painted on many surfaces but wood panels are my preferred surfaces to paint on.

I learned to paint on wood when I worked for a LA billboard company painting album covers on huge boards when I was 18yrs old.  Some pieces were as large as 12x12 feet! I’ve always enjoyed the solid smooth surface of panels over canvas since.

I've created this demo to show the process I've developed that works for me.
